Book review: THE HONEY WOMAN, Agnes Flügel, Lübeck Verlag
In this lively and fresh book, Agnes Flügel tells of her journey, which took her from the urban jungle of Hamburg to the "flat country" in Schleswig Holstein and the Baltic Sea. She continues to report on a radical professional change. And she tells about her two million companions. Her bees. Enough material for 300 pages worth reading.

Agnes Flügel ventured out of a well-paid position in the media industry and into nature, becoming a hobby beekeeper. The hobby quickly became a passion and on this basis the HONIGMANUFAKTUR FLÜGELCHEN was born.
It is not about a bee textbook. Rather, the author describes how liberating letting go can be and how happy it is "to do your thing", to live your dreams. The book is not just about sunshine. The climate at the Baltic Sea is just as mixed as the path of Agnes Flügel, who is always faced with new challenges that have to be mastered.
Along the way, the reader learns a great deal about the life and husbandry of the bees that are so important to us. The book inspires to deal with the subject of bees and shows how fulfilling, meaningful and valuable this task can be for each of us.
The book THE HONEY WOMAN can be ordered with the honey manufactory under the Web address info@fluegelchen-honig.de or in the book trade at the price of 19,98 €.
Agnes wing continues. We are already looking forward to her new book, which will be published in April 2020 under the title "ONE-WAY-TICKET TO LISBON". Will the bees fly with you to Portugal?
